Alex Gonzaga says SORRY after spreading ‘WRONG’ info about Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Top Trending Topic online! The popular showbiz personality in the Philippines, Alex Gonzaga immediately public apology after spreading ‘wrong’ info about COVID-19. Recently, Alex Gonzaga posted a reminder about the deadly disease (COVID-19) and it was turned out that the message was not verified. The actress receives negative comments by the Netizens after posting the wrong information. 

She mentioned to her posts that people should disinfect all the purchased items using one cup of bleach and nine cups of water. “So far ang trend sa hospitals now is sa grocery nakukuha ang COVID-19, so if kayang magbulk-buy, yun na yung gawin,” she wrote. “Then paki disinfect mga nabili delata etc. 1:9 ratio chlorox and water. 1 cup chlorox 9 cups water. Paki share na lang.” Philippine General Hospital (PGH) releases a statement about the alleged “trend” in hospitals concerning the novel coronavirus. It stated that there is no such observed “trend” in hospitals and it also encouraged people to verify the information first before posting it on social media. 

Alex Gonzaga Twitter posts stated “Hi yes! Sorry i deleted it na! It was forwarded kasi from a friend na may contact sa doctors. Pasensya na.” 

Alex Gonzaga is also considered as one of the most acclaimed YouTube vloggers in the country.
