Willie Revillame reacted to the temporary suspension of studio audience admission due to coronavirus outbreak in the country.


On Monday, March 9, the 74-year-old president Rodrigo Roa Duterte has placed the Philippines under a state of public health emergency due to the rising of novel coronavirus cases in the country.

Last night it was confirmed that there are now 24 cases of coronavirus in the country. According to the President, the cases were recorded at Sta. Maria, San Juan, West Crame, and Project 6 in Quezon City.

Eat Bulaga management has already released a statement that says the show will be temporarily banned for live studio audience amidst the coronavirus in the country. However, Eat Bulaga management assured their viewer that they will continue to bring happiness to the Filipino.

They said, “Araw-araw pa rin po kaming maghahatid ng isang libo’t isang tuwa sa inyong mga tahanan. Ingat po tayong lahat, Dabarkads!” 

The tv host Willie Revillame, The main host of the top-rated variety show “Wowowin” also gave his reaction to the decision of the show management.

Based on the report of PEP, Revillame will have a meeting with the Kapuso network management about the precautionary measure of the show amid the COVID-19.

Revillame said that “For me, dapat talagang wala munang audience,” to help prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
