Patient 135 is a 13-Year-Old, Youngest COVID-19 Patient Recorded in the Philippines

A 13-year-old confirmed coronavirus patient in the country is the youngest victim in the Philippines and she was tagged as Patient 135.

The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed that the 13-year-old is a female patient and a resident of Quezon City. The health authorities conducted tracing if she has travel history, but report confirmed she has no travel record and she was not even exposed to known COVID-19 cases.

According to the report, Patient 135 started showing symptoms of the disease on March 4, 2020 and then she was confirmed positive of COVID-19 only on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

The Quezon City Health Department is taking care of her as of writing.

The youngest female patient of coronavirus in the country was recorded one among the new 29 COVID-19 confirmed cases by the health department. As of Sunday, March 15, 2020 the DOH announces a total number of afflicted patients which now spikes to 140 confirmed cases and death toll of 11.
