K-pop Star Chung Ha Cancelled Appointments and Take ‘Self-Isolation’ After Staff Members Tested Positive for COVID-19

Fans and followers of the South Korean star singer Chung Ha expressed wishes of good health after learning that the singer cancelled all her scheduled appointments and take self-isolation due to coronavirus that infects her two staff members.

According to the report, two of the staff members of Chung Ha were tested positive of the coronavirus disease or COVID-19. Because of the said incident, the singer performer Chung Ha cancelled all her scheduled activities and take a self-isolation which the same action also taken by all her personnel accompanied her in Italy as to response the request of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for safety measure of everybody despite of testing negative for COVID-19 as of the moment.

The American mass media company, 88rising announces on their official Twitter account that Chung Ha cancelled her appointment and will not perform in the Cloud Festival in Jakarta as she lineup as one of the performing celebrity during the festival.

“For the sake of safety, all scheduled activities have been canceled for the time being, and we will continue to take the best possible measures and deal with [the virus] faithfully,” the statement said.

“We thank everyone working hard to combat the virus, and we will do our best to protect our safety and health from COVID-19,” it added.

The COVID-19 cases in South Korea has recorded over 2,000 based on the report from Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said. This is considered the highest number in the world record of COVID-19 cases outside China.
