JUST IN: Senator Koko Pimentel Confirmed Positive for Coronavirus

One of the senators of the Philippines, Koko Pimentel III tested positive of coronavirus.

The senate member made confirmation through Philippine Star from which the statement of the lawmaker was also posted on their Facebook Page saying,

“I was informed late last night March 24, 2020 that I have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The swab was taken last Friday, March 20, 2020,” he said.

The world is facing rare of a kind challenge that make people around the globe panic due to the killer disease brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the Philippines, the coronavirus cases increase since the first person tested positive of the coronavirus. The said report alarmed the office of the president prompting him to declare the nation under the state of health emergency.
