JUST IN: DOH Confirms 13 New Coronavirus Cases in the Philippines

The Department of Health (DOH) reported another 13 new cases of coronavirus patients in the country.

According to the DOH the new confirmed patients of coronavirus disease marks the overall total of 230 as of Friday, March 20, 2020.

The DOH also noted that there is another one (1) death case recorded on the list counting the total death toll of 18 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Philippine government is implementing stringent social distancing while borders of the cities and provinces is strictly monitored for in and out bound to curve the spread of the COVID-19 disease as President Rodrigo Duterte placed the entirety of Luzon under “enhance community quarantine.”

Pandemic COVID-19 cases in China and Italy serves as a mirror to some other countries including the Philippines that if cannot be properly handled and cooperated, it could end up into a worst case scenario. This is the reason that our government spearheaded by the health department continue campaigning stringent social distancing and proper hygiene because the government believes that public cooperation is a great help.
