FULL LISTS: Suspension of Online Classes Nationwide due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Kabataan Partylist strongly calls on the DepEd and CHED to immediately issue a memorandum order on the suspension of online classes following countless reports of its inaccessibility, potential health risks.

President Rodrigo Duterte addressed the public on Monday night regarding the declaration of a Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

There are some Universities that have suspended their online classes. In the University of the Philippines System, All online classes on campuses under the University of the Philippines System (Diliman, Manila, Los Banos, Baguio, Visayas, Cebu, Mindanao) except UP Open University are suspended until April 14.


Ateneo de Manila University suspended their online classes beginning March 17, 2020. De La Salle University, Suspension of online learning on March 18-24. The University of Santo Tomas, Online classes suspended on March 17-21.


Mapua University suspended its online classes on March 17-24. Adamson University Online learning activities suspended until April 14. National University eLearning classes suspended until April 14.


Philippine Normal University Online classes on all campuses are suspended. STI College Online learning sessions are suspended for all levels on campuses nationwide.


DOH recorded (March 19, 2020) a total of 202 cases have been reported nationwide with COVID-19, 17 dead and 7 having recovered the disease according to the Department of Health.
