Iza Calzado is a Filipino actress, television host, dancer, and model. She previously worked on GMA Network. But now Calzado signed has an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN and a non-exclusive contract with Star Cinema.

Recently, Calzado made her fans worried because of her social media post. She revealed that she is currently confined to a hospital because of pneumonia. She also said that she already got tested for the novel coronavirus disease.

According to Iza, she recognized the fact that the health workers in the Philippines are in a more dangerous situation because of the threat of COVID-19.

The actress is asking to join her for praying to those who are not in good condition. She added that her fellow Filipinos will fight together during these difficult times.

Based on her post, she stated,

“I’m currently hospitalized for pneumonia and so, I was tested for Covid-19 and I’ve been waiting for the results… It’s been a challenging time for me but it cannot compare to the frontliners who have cared for me and to whom I am so grateful,”

“I am hoping you all can join me in prayer for those who are currently sick and their loved ones, for every person struggling to cope in these tough times. And most especially, for the medical workers who are doing their best despite the hurdles,”

Iza Calzado is now one of the cast members of the upcoming series entitled “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin”. She is with the big stars, Maricel Soriano, Judy Sta. Maria, and Sam Milby. The series was first unveiled last January. It is directed by, Direk FM Reyes.
