These Korean Stars Donated a Huge Amount of Money for the Prevention of Coronavirus Rises in South Korea

As the number of infected persons in South Korea increases, these Korean stars donated money.

South Korea Announces on Thursday, that the third death patients infected with the COVID-19 virus and the number of infected patients increases which is now rose to 1,595. On February 20, A 74-year-old man shows symptoms such as fever, cough, and also experiences shortness of breathing a few days later. The sudden increase in the number of infected made South Korea the most infected place outside the mainland of China.

Some Korean stars such as Gong Yoo, Bae Suzy, Kim Woo Bin, and Son Ye Jin has donated a huge amount of money for the prevention of virus in their country. “Goblin” actor Gong Yoo donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea using his real name Gong Ji Chul. This is accordingly to be used to support “quarantine authorities and medical staff”. 100 million won is approximately Php 4,185,966.39.

While the “While You Were Sleeping” and “Vagabond” actress Bae Suzy donated the same amount to Good Neighbors to help families with low income.

“The Heirs” star Kim Woo-bin also dropped 100 million won Seoul’s Community Chest of Korea for socially disadvantaged people who are considered more likely to get infected easily.

The actress Son Ye Jin, the star of “Crash Landing on You” gave out 100 million won to the Daegu branch of the Community Chest of Korea to combat coronavirus outbreak. As per PUSH, she stated, “I hope that [my donation] can provide some sort of practical help to lower-income residents who desperately need help now more than ever, as well as aid in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19.”
