DOH: Manila Health Department Falsified Raffy Tulfo Post In Social Media “No Confirmed Corona virus In Manila Yet”

MANILA Department of Health issued an advisory that no reported case of new corona virus.

According to Manila Health Department issued a statement with regards to the unverified information that lurking the social media on corona virus infection in Binondo Manila.

It was posted on Raffy Tulfo page which quotes there is a certain Chinese national that suffering from cough, fever and shortness of breathe in Binondo Manila.

But the health department noted that it is just a mere type of community acquired pneumonia.

According to Dr. Arnold Pangan the POGO worker was hospitalized due to severe cough and fever and now is stable condition.

“The patient has fever and cough but negative on history of travel to Wuhan, China, and no history of exposure to a host or positive case,” Pangan said.

Meanwhile here is the quote of the post from a concern health worker that he/she spotted a Chinese National fro Wuhan and spotted sign of deadly corona virus infection and alerted the public to be aware.

He /She also addressed the information to the Department of Health to please investigate to be clarified as well.

As of now the Philippines is safe for the corona virus outbreak and the government is strictly monitoring the passageway of the country to ensure that no illegal Chinese citizens from Wuhan could enter the country premises to avoid contact and infection of the disease.
