Facebook and Instagram down in some parts of the world and the hashtag #facebookdown are now trending in social networking sites such as Twitter.

There are more than 12, 000 users sent reports to site downtime detection (Down Detector), indicating Facebook was down.

Here is the Facebook downtime: “An outage map for Facebook’s services as of 12:15 am of October 12, Philippine time. Screen shot from Downdetector.com”

Instagram downtime were also down with more than 2, 500 reports on the service.
