CPA Passers: October 2017 Certified Public Accountant Board Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) release total passers of 4,511 out of 14,816 who successfully passed the October 2017 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination. PRC stated that the results of examination with respect to three (3) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy and PRC administered the licensure examination in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban and Tuguegarao, held last October 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2017.

The members of the Board of Accountancy is composed by Joel L. Tan-Torres, Chairman; Eliseo A. Aurellado, Gerard B. Sanvictores, Gloria T. Baysa, Concordio S. Quisaot, Samuel B. Padilla and Arlyn S. Villanueva, Members.

Official Website of PRC release statement “The Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy announces that the new target release date for the October 2017 CPA Licensure Examination will be on November 2 or 3, 2017 due to the previous cancellations of government office work that resulted to the delay in processing of the exam results.”

Examinees answer the following test: Taxation, Business Law and Taxation, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Practical Accounting 1, Auditing, Auditing Theory, Theory of Accounts, Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting, Practical Accounting II, Regulatory Framework for Business, Auditing Problems, Management Advisory Services, and Management Services.

Last Oct. 2016, PRC release the official results, 5,249 out of 14,390 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy.
