John Mark Saga is still the Tawag Ng Tanghalan season 2 defending champion on ‘It’s Showtime’ on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Muffet Tan is the Daily contender winner with an average score of 94.2 percent. She defeats the contenders of Visayas Zacarias LanoJanan and Kristine Cena from Mindanao.

Muffet Tan sings Deniece Williams hit song “Healing” while the defending champion sings Alicia Keys’ hit “If Ain’t Got You.” After the performances, the judges voted Saga with an average score of 98.6. John Mark Saga will be back on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 to defend his title.
