The declaration of Martial Law by President Rodrigo Duterte to the entire Mindanao region is believed to be the best solution to control the ongoing clashes between the government troops against the Muslim bandits who identified themselves as “Maute Group” who were responsible of the massive chaos and panic in Marawi City.

Recently, there were incident reported that made the Filipino people panic following after the police battled against dozens of gunmen who were considered world’s most wanted Islamic militants in the southern city of Mindanao.

In connection to the turmoil happening in Mindanao, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte declared Martial Law for 60 days through the official statement aired by presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella during the briefing in Moscow, Russia.
