There were about thousands of mass communication students from all over the Philippines who got to be in the ABS-CBN Coporation’s 10th Pinoy Media Congress.They disclosed about the latest trends and issues in media and communication straight from the right straight from the industry experts! Held at St. Mary’s College, Quezon City last week.

Carlo Katigbak being the ABS-CBN president and CEO has once reminded all students from the Cagayan State University in the north and UP Mindanao in the south to never lose their idealism and fire. He disclosed so much overwhelming speech in the wort it three-day seminar with a vision to prepare communication students for their future roles in the media.

According to Carlo Katigbak, “Hold on to your idealism. May that be the fuel that drives your passion for the mission to build a better country and create a better world,”

He also shared the introduced the speakers and who made the event successful, ABS-CBN and the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE). The years theme was “Media: Empowering and Inspiring a Nation.”
