Current President of the Philippines, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III call for a responsible and fair reporting towards the present condition of Bagyong Ruby as it make a landfall this Saturday evening December 6. President Pnoy is so much concern about the alarming reports comparing Ruby’s intensity to “Yolanda”.

Strongest typhoon recorded in history “Yolanda”.

 

 

PNOY clarified that he already solicited information to DOST and PAG-ASA, stating that typhoon Ruby is far from the deadly typhoon Yolanda.

He noted all the people involved for giving information towards the upcoming typhoon must do their best and leave no chances together with matching what they done in the past that could give more confidence to the Filipino people as it faces another challenge compliments by Mother Nature.

President Aquino criticizes the newspaper company stating that they arises fear in the heart of the people wherein they categorize the intensity of Ruby directly proportional to the devastating power of typhoon Yolanda.

He added “One has to ask: What was the basis of such speculation, and don’t we all agree that in reporting, we must always get the facts right, the angle right, and the news right, if we are to truly inform our people?”

As of 2:00 PM December 5, Bagyong Ruby is spotted 380 km East of Borongan, Eastern Samar with a maximum sustain winds of 215kph with gustiness of 250 kph, moving 13 kph and expected to landfall this Saturday evening and will go out of the country approximately on Wednesday next week.
