PAGASA Predicted Super Typhoon “Seniang” to Hit Visayas Region

After typhoon “Ruby” (Hagupit) lashing some areas of Visayas particularly in Samar and Bicol Region just this month of December 2014, another super typhoon named “Seniang” was predicted to hit the Visayas Region probably before the end of this year.

SeniangThe incoming second super typhoon “Seniang” was predicted more powerful and devastating compared the recent typhoon “Ruby.” PAGASA Visayas Director Oscar Tabada clarifies that the incoming super typhoon “Senniang” was just a prediction and no official forecast coming from their office.

But this prediction is possible in the since that the Philippines is normally experiencing more or less 20 typhoons according to the number of alphabet from A-Z to hit the country within a year.

The prediction about the incoming super typhoon “Seniang” was first surfaced on the internet under the columnist’s ‘Freeman Opinion’ Leo Lastimosa of Philstar.com which was published last month of November 29, 2014. The prediction about “Seniang” went viral and spread over the internet like as of a mountain fire.

Tabada feared that the incoming super typhoon “Seniang” will follow the route of the former super typhoon “Pablo” that hit and devastated Mindanao areas last December 3, 2012 with 280kph sustained wind leaving more than 600 people killed and thousands families lost their homes.

However, Joint Typhoon Warning Center issued recently that there is no sign of weather disturbance surrounding Pacific Ocean at this moment.
