Recorded Call for Help from Emergency Hotline 117 Linked to the Hazing Victim “Guillo Cesar Servando” Went Viral (Video)

The controversial death of Guillo Cesar Servando of De La Salle-College of St. Benilde student became one of the hot talks in social media after the news exploded on the media.

John Paul John RavalRecently, ABS-CBN’s late night news broadcast “Bandila” has made a follow up report about incident that before the premature death of the hazing victim “Guillo Cesar Servando” one of his companions who was assumed hazing survivors was able to call for help to the emergency Hotline 117 of the DILG. The said call for help was directly linked to the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) who made immediately response and sent rescue team to the exact location.

The initial police investigation found out that the alleged caller was identified as John Paul John Raval owner of the condo unit number 2907, at 29th Floor of Archer’s One Place Condominium at Taft Avenue, Manila.

According to the conversation recorded by the DILG, the caller described the incident that they found their friend drunk and unconscious. He does not mention that their friend is a victim of a fraternity hazing. Upon the arrival of Red Cross rescue team, they found the victim whose name identified as Guillo Cesar Servando, 18-year-old is no longer breathing.

Authorities also added that aside from Servando there were two other hazing victims but survived during the hazing initiation. One is identified as Lorenzo Agustin while the other one was unnamed whose age is 17-year-old.

The medical examination result of Servando appeared that his body turned its color from bluish to black due to severe damaged of the alleged hazing incident. The medical expert Dr. Willie Ong, said, the primary cause of death of the victim is due to traumatic injuries affecting his trunk and damage his lower extremities. Dr. Ong added that nerves or vital organs were also damaged due to the extreme hit during initiation.

Police report identified the suspects were the members of “Tau Gamma Phi” fraternity.
