Long-time couple Vhong Navarro and girlfriend Tanya Winona Bautista arrived at the Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Thursday morning to attend the arraignment of the seven charged with grave coercion in connection with the January 22 mauling incident involving him as a victim.

During the arrival of the couple the two were noticeably very sweet as they enter the court hand-in-hand.

In the most recent interview with ABS-CBNnews.com Navarro shared that the controversial mauling incident on January 22 strengthened their relationship with Bautista.

“Sobrang saya namin lalo ngayon,” Navarro said in April. “Noong una kasi, sobrang hirap. Kasi nababalik sa kanya ‘yung ginawa ko, e, ‘di ba? Iyon talaga, nag-mi-mixed emotions siya. Meron okay kami, tapos hindi na siya okay.”

Few weeks later after the mauling incident emotional Navarro apologizes to girlfriend Bautista and explained to her admitting that he agreed to meet with Cornejo at her condominium unit and the assault that left him confined to the hospital was set up by Cedric Lee and company.

“This time mas nakita ko, mas naramdaman ko, na hindi lang pala talaga siya girlfriend ko lang. Siya rin pala ‘yung best friend ko,” he said. “Gusto ko lang sabihin na wala na akong hahanapin pa kay Tanya. At gusto ko, siya na makasama ko habang-buhay” added the actor.

Navarro’s previous marriage with Bianca Lapus was annulled in 2010, but he assured to do best effort for Baustista being faithful partner to make their relationship last forever.
