Rod Cornejo the grandfather of Deniece Cornejo urges the model to surrender to police authorities in connection to the case “serious illegal detention” filed by the comedian actor/TV host Vhong Navarro.

In an interview with GMA news “24 Oras” uncle Rod Cornejo leaves a message for Deniece telling model that he believes on her that she was telling the truth, but still Lolo Rod Cornejo wanted her to surrender.

“I believe Deniece is telling the truth. Because of this I believe she should immediately submit herself to the authorities and trust the judicial system to determine the truth once and for all,” Rod said in a statement which is also sent to “Buzz ng Bayan” which was read on Sunday episode.

Uncle Rod Cornejo also appeals to all the viewers to make a fair judgment regarding the complaint of his grandniece against the actor which was junked by the Court of Justice.

“I, therefore, appeal to your viewers to withhold their judgment and allow the process to determine the truth, the truth that sets one free,” he added.

Deniece Cornejo is one among the group of Cedric Lee involved in the serious illegal detention case filed by Navarro. Cedric Lee and Simeon “Zimmer” Raz were caught by the policemen in Oras, Eastern Samar on April 26, 2014 but the 22-year-old model is still in the wanted list of the authorities.
