Ellen Adarna revealed her opinion about the case between her friends Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee versus the comedian actor and TV host Vhong Navarro in the mauling incident that took place in Taguig condominium unit last January 22, 2014.

During the ABS-CBN Trade Event held in Pasay City on Thursday, January 30, 2014 where the debut soap opera of the actress was introduced.

Ellen AdarnaMarie Lozano, Adarna told ABS-CBN about the shooting for the film that supposed to be set to start this week where she will be a co-star with Vhong Navarro but since the mauling incident involving the actor Vhong Navarro the shooting was postponed.

Her friend Denise Cornejo formally filed charges against Vhong Navarro on Wednesday, the following day; the actor TV host filed a counter case with simultaneous charges involving Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee and five others suspects.

In the formal affidavit of her friend Deniece Cornejo, the model claimed that the actor forced her to perform oral ‘6’ on him and tried to insert his private part in hers but before anything done she was rescued by her friend Cedric Lee and company.

Adarna revealed her opinion showing no favor to her friend Deniece Cornejo regarding her claimed against the actor saying, “The only thing that I have to say is that, like, you know, as a woman, you shouldn’t allow things like that, every detail, like even a touch… If you feel violated, you say it out loud. You say it to the person that, ‘You can’t do this to me.'”

“Why now? Why now in public? You have all the rights,” Adarna added. “Women have their right to show what we can do. For me, it’s like… For me, honestly, Cedric is my friend but I’m sorry…”

Adarna’s leading actor in their upcoming film Vhong Navarro strongly denied the allegation charged against him by Miss Cornejo but instead the actor claimed that it was a set-up and he became a victim of extortion. The actor said that he was blindfolded tied up and beaten by the group of men of at least 6-men headed by the businessman Cedric Lee.

When she was asked where to side between Vhong Navarro and her friend Deniece Cornejo in the controversy, Adarna said:  “I’m torn in the middle, but, like, it’s just wrong… I’m not choosing a side, because I don’t really know the whole story. I’m like 50-50.”

Adarna said that until this moment she could not able to visit the actor personally just to wish him well, and she added that she don’t mind that there is postponement of their movie with the actor just give him fast recovery.

“Actually, I texted Vhong that I hope he’s okay. That’s about it. Wala na akong ibang magagawa, e. I mean, like, but hope for the better, eh. Postponed muna ‘yung movie, but kung sino man ang may good intention… Justice to the one who deserves it,” she said.
