Famous Mexican singer actress Adriana Sodi Miranda best known in her scree name “Thalia” is honored as the 2,514th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in California.
The Queen of Latin Pop became popular in Asia especially in the Philippines in 1992 through the introductory telenovela in the country entitled “Maria Mercedes” that immediately broke all the records in television industry.
After two years followed her second movie drama series “Marimar” and still topped all the TV ratings. Right after that followed the third TV series “Maria La Del Barrio” and the last was “Rosalinda” which was aired sometime in 1999.
According to the Hollywood, Thalia was the first Mexican singer actress received the star award in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 42-year-old Thalia was emotional during the awarding ceremony thanking to her fans and love ones who are very supportive to her until today. She said that the star received is dedicated to her late mother who died in 2011.
