The issue regarding the relief goods with the seal coming from the office of the Vice President Jejomar “Jojo” C. Binay went viral on different social media.
According to various social media Twitter and Facebook, supporters of Binay in Iloilo City who are responsible of distributing relief goods have proven that the alleged report is true in the evidence of the sticker fastened into the plastic bag distributed to the typhoon victims in the province of Iloilo. The marked bearing the seal “Office of the Vice President (OVP)” and the Truck van loading the relief goods which is also bearing a big tarpaulin at the back printed with seal of the “Office of the Vice President” together with his picture upon it is now currently spreading and trending to the netizens on social media.
However, according to Binay’s spokesperson Joey Salgado “the alleged marking Office of the Vice President into the bag containing relief goods distributed to Iloilo victims is not true. It has no sticker attached into it. As a matter of fact, relief goods distributed to the victims are in the plain white plastic bags,” explained Salgado.
The issue about the mark bearing the seal of the OVP attached to the bag distributed to the victims in Iloilo that stirred up negative feedback from the netizens on social media is now being investigated in order to clarify that issue, explained Salgado on his tweet.
Aside from the explanation from the side of Binay, a video report last Wednesday shows Binay’s camp repacking hundreds of relief goods to a plain white plastic bag with a seal coming from the Office of the Vice President as you can see picture below when you click it to allow you viewing in full.
