Bureau of Immigration Issued Lookout Order Against Deniece Cordnejo, Cedric Lee and 3 Others

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) issued a Lookout Bulletin Order (LBO) dated January 29, 2014 at around 12 noon to prevent from the possible departure of the five alleged suspects involved in the mauling of the comedian actor and “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Vhong Navarro.

Bureau of ImmigrationThe LBO issued by the Bureau of Immigration was upon the order of Justice Secretary Leila De Lima on Thursday are now being circulated to all immigration officers in all international airports and seaports in the Philippines to hold the possible exit from the country of the following persons which includes the businessman Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo, Bernice Lee (sister of Cedric Lee), Zimmer Rance and Ferdinand Guerrero.

The five names mentioned above are among the eight allegedly responsible of the beating incidents in a condominium unit in Taguig City where the model Deniece Cornejo resides.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) and the National Bureau of Investigation are attached agencies to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to coordinate and execute the Lookout Bulletin Order.

The memorandum forwarded to BI Commissioner Siegfred Mison dated January 29, 2014 in which Sec. De Lima ordered the bureau to inform the Office of the Secretary (DOJ) and the Office of the Prosecutor General Claro Arellano and the NBI of whatever pertinent information regarding the suspects whose names are included to the Lookout Bulletin Order if ever any attempt to leave the country. Another purpose of the LBO is to monitor the activity of the suspects and get updates to the status of the case and any of the relevant information that may be used as a basis for proper action to take by the immigration officer.

Recently, the victim of beating incident in the condo unit, Vhong Navarro filed charges of serious physical injuries, serious illegal detention, grave threats, grave coercion and blackmail versus Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee and company. On the other side, Deniece Cornejo filed complaint of attempted rape against the actor Vhong Navarro.
