Celebrity and Senator’s wife Heart Evangelista has continued her way of helping others amid the pandemic, as she is also going to give away tablets to those students who don’t have one to use for online schooling.
Heart Evangelista, is a Filipina actress, TV host, visual media artist, philanthropist, and socialite. She is the married to Senator Chiz Escudero on Febuary 15, 2015.
Recently, the 35-year-old actress posted on her Twitter account that she will be giving away tablets for those students who can’t afford to buy tablets to use for there online class.
“For those who don’t have tablets for online school please dm me on ig … I will be giving away as much tablets as I can,” Heart tweeted sharing a photo of the tablet she would be giving away.
Due to the quarantine protocols because of the COVID-19 pandemic, most schools have shifted to online classes and blended learning this coming academic year.
However, most parents and guardians have raised concerns over additional household expenses for gadgets and mobile load for internet connection.
Recently, a 63-year-old woman went viral after she spent the money she made selling vegetables to buy her grandson a smartphone for him to use on his online classes.
