A pre-taped voice of President Rodrigo Duterte where he addresses the responsibility of the Mayors and Brgy. Chairman to feed the residents during the enhance community quarantine amid COVID-19 pandemic is making round on social media.

According to the pre-taped voice uploaded on YouTube, President Duterte said that the barangay will be in charge of supplying foods which are the basic needs to sustain lives during the enhance community quarantine.

“The barangay captains should call a number and at least food, rice and some, ulam puwede niyong ibigay para sa ating mga kababayan,” President Duterte.

Duterte also warned barangay chairman if they don’t see to it what’s going on the citizens who are fearing on their houses and if the barangay chairman doesn’t go out to check situation of the people because he/she is afraid to die of coronavirus, President Duterte said, he has no more business at all as barangay chairman.

“Wag kayong matakot. Kung yung Barangay Captian ninyo ay tatamad-tamaran, sya ang puntahan ko.”
