The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines based on the update of the Department of Health (DOH) has exceeded 501 cases.

Currently, the Philippines was now fighting a very hard battle against the 2019 novel coronavirus, which is spreading and the case was rising fast in the country. The novel coronavirus is officially called as COVID-19. WHO has declared this deadly disease a pandemic.

The Department of Health (DOH) just gave an update on the coronavirus cases in the country. Based on a post of GMA News, 39 new cases were confirmed and that sums up the total to 501.

As of the post, 19 patients have recovered from the disease. Sadly, the death toll is now at 33.
