High school teacher of Cavite National High School (CNHS) Gilbert Bugarin is making round on social media following after his Facebook post featuring his students wearing white full-face masks amid coronavirus outbreak.
According to Teacher Bugarin he told his students under his class to wear a mask to protect themselves against the 2019 Novel Corona Virus which is now confirmed in the country.
In response to Teacher Bugarin’s instruction, even if his students took it seriously about the threat of the coronavirus in the country, he and his class decided to take it a little bit jocose for the first time and he found out the following day, his students wearing the white full-face masks took picture on them upload in in his Facebook account, which the same photos that caught the attention of the online community and his post went viral in the online world.
Bugarin captioned his post saying, “Para makaiwas sa NCoV, I advised my students to wear mask. Pero parang may mali. HAHAHA,” he wrote in a viral Facebook post.
The Grade 7 teacher told GMA News reporter, that the mask his students were wearing was a personalized design intended for the Maskara Festivals in their school which they also use for protection against coronavirus.
He also clarifies that they are serious about the 2019-nCoV outbreak, and that he believes they are wearing the right protection with their improvised mask.
The photo uploaded by Teacher Bugarin went viral online garnered hundreds of thousands views and comments in Facebook which also the same photo shared in micro-blogging sites.
