The battle lines are slowly but getting the heat button and are now growing rapidly especially after Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte announce his presidential bid and had filed his certificate of candidacy for president. Meanwhile, the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) Manny Pacquiao repeatedly says that it will never be changed. His unwavering support is still for Vice President Jejomar Binay in the coming 2016 elections.

Stressing, “I have only one thing to say: We are supporting our beloved Vice President who is a UNA candidate. Our position will not change,”

He also quoted his friendship with Duterte. It will continue despite of choosing Binay for the higher account.

Meanwhile, for now Binay is in Sarangani to attend a meeting of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in the town of Maasim.

Pacquiao stated, “If Duterte runs —he is from Mindanao— it’s kind of an embarrassment for him that I will not support him in case he decides to do it,”
