Makati Mayor Abby Binay responded to a question about the delegation of her mayoral responsibilities in the event she is absent from office. She identified the one person she trusts to carry on her initiatives and oversee projects until the year 2025 – none other than her husband.
With a hint of humor, she jokingly emphasized that her husband better ensure the successful implementation of her plans, or else he might find himself deprived of a warm welcome at home.
The lawyer and seasoned politician, who has held the position of Makati Mayor since 2016, made it clear that she would never entrust the responsibilities of her office to just anyone.
