Richard Gutierrez solidified his dedication as a Kapamilya by officially renewing his contract with ABS-CBN during the “Solid Kapamilya: Network Contract Signing” event at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater on October 26.

“I think where I am now in my life and where I am in my career is exactly where I want to be, and that is to be a solid Kapamilya,” said Richard, whose recent series “The Iron Heart” had a successful run. He expressed pride in ABS-CBN’s resilience and its ability to deliver world-class shows in the face of many challenges.

“With everything that ABS-CBN has gone through over the years at sa lahat ng pinagdaanang pagsubok ng network, I think we are not just surviving but thriving. They were able to pivot successfully, and until today, we are still giving world-class shows to Filipinos worldwide. It is the reason why I am here as a Kapamilya. I am proud to be a Kapamilya,” the acclaimed Kapamilya actor said.

Richard also took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to his fans, fellow actors, and ABS-CBN for their unwavering support throughout his career journey.

Among those present at the contract signing were esteemed figures including ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, group CFO Rick Tan, head of TV Production and Star Magic Laurenti Dyogi, Star Magic’s Love Capulong, as well as Richard’s mother and manager, Annabelle Rama.

Adding to the significance of the event, Idol Philippines Season 2 grand champion Khimo Gumatay delivered a special performance, singing “Sino Ka Ba,” the theme song of “The Iron Heart.” The affair was graciously hosted by Ai Dela Cruz.

Looking ahead with enthusiasm, Richard expressed his eagerness for the forthcoming chapter in his career, disclosing his plans to embark on the early stages of conceptualizing a new project at the start of the upcoming year.

“We have a couple of things lined up. For the teleserye, I think the first quarter of next year. I think it is enough preparation for planning kasi ang hirap tapatan ng “The Iron Heart,” he shared. “To be honest, kailangan naming mag-isip ng panibagong konsepto, magandang konsepto at kung paano namin iaangat pa ‘yung level from the ‘Iron Heart’ in terms of action, in terms of storytelling, locations.”
