The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially unveiled the schedule for the 2024 board exams, marking significant dates for online processing, application deadlines, practical examinations, Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE), and expected result release dates.
Outlined in the ‘Schedule of Licensure Examinations for 2024’ as per PRC Resolution No. 1728 Series of 2023, this schedule adheres to Section 7 (d) of R.A. 8981, granting the Commission authority to determine examination places and dates.
The 2024 PRC board exam schedule encompasses a wide range of professions including professional teachers (LET), nurses (NLE), certified public accountants (CPALE), physicians (PLE), criminologists (CLE), electronics engineers (ECE), midwives (MLE), electrical engineers (REE), civil engineers (CE), among others.
Highlighted exam dates include:
- Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET): March 17, 2024, and September 29, 2024
- Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE): May 6-7, 2024, and November 9-10, 2024
- Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE): May 26-28, 2024, and October 25-27, 2024
- Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE): February 2-4, 2024, and July 31-August 1-2, 2024
- Physician Licensure Exam (PLE): April 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2024, and October 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2024
- Civil Engineering Licensure Exam (CELE): April 20-21, 2024, and November 18-19, 2024

PRC encourages requests for additional testing centers, following the directives stipulated in PRC Resolution No. 1493 Series of 2022.
The agency has emphasized the importance of adhering to the deadlines for filing applications, urging timely submission of all required documents at Regional Offices and Offsite Service Centers within the specified period. However, extensions may be requested, but these must be submitted at least fifteen (15) days before the scheduled deadline. In cases where the deadline coincides with weekends, regular or special holidays, it will automatically shift to the next working day as per PRC regulations.
