Kathryn Bernardo sparked curiosity among her Instagram followers when she decided to stop following her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla and actress Gillian Vicencio. Vicencio had previously faced accusations of being involved as a third party in the breakup between Bernardo and Padilla.
Observant fans noted that Bernardo removed Padilla from her list of followed accounts, while Padilla still maintained his following of Bernardo as of Thursday morning, January 11, 2024.
Upon closer examination of Bernardo’s follow list, fans discovered that she had also unfollowed Vicencio. A fan’s TikTok screenshot from early December showed that Bernardo was following Vicencio at that time.
In addition to these changes, netizens observed that Bernardo does not follow fellow actresses Liza Soberano and Julia Barretto. It remains unconfirmed whether Bernardo recently unfollowed them or if she had never followed them in the first place.
Gillian Vicencio, who had previously collaborated with Bernardo and Padilla in the TV series “2 Good 2 Be True,” became entangled in the couple’s breakup rumors back in September. Speculations about an alleged affair between Vicencio and Padilla circulated on social media, but Vicencio refuted these rumors. Her friend DJ Jhai Ho claimed to know the source of the “made-up stories” surrounding the actress. Both Bernardo and Padilla have not publicly addressed the matter at the time of this writing.
In a separate incident in November, Bernardo made headlines for reportedly unfollowing Andrea Brillantes, who was also linked to Padilla.
