The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted a large-scale Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on Sunday, September 24, 2023. The examination took place across a network of more than 40 testing centers nationwide, including Bangkok, Thailand.

The primary testing centers encompassed major cities such as Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

In response to the significant number of examinees and to facilitate accessibility while minimizing travel expenses, the PRC also designated additional test centers. These supplementary locations aimed to accommodate the growing demand for the teachers’ board exam. The newly designated test centers included Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Santa Cruz (Laguna), Tagum, Oroquieta, and Valencia (Bukidnon).

The Board for Professional Teachers overseeing the examination is comprised of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman, Dr. Paz I. Lucido as Vice Chairman, and Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy as Members.
