The September 2023 LET passers are individuals who have achieved an average rating of not less than 75%, with no rating lower than 50% in any of the subjects. This benchmark reflects a high level of proficiency and competence in the various areas assessed during the examination. Administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the extensive LET took place on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at a widespread network of at least 40 testing centers across the nation, including one in Bangkok, Thailand.

The testing centers were strategically positioned in key cities such as Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. Recognizing the importance of accessibility, the PRC proactively designated additional test centers. This thoughtful expansion aimed to accommodate the substantial number of examinees taking the teachers’ board exam and alleviate the challenges of distant travel and additional expenses for hopefuls. These supplementary locations included Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Sta. Cruz (Laguna), Tagum, Oroquieta, and Valencia (Bukidnon).


EXAMINATION HISTORY

In the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released results within forty-two (42) working days. Out of 60,896 examinees, 24,819 elementary teachers successfully passed the exams, achieving a pass rate of 40.76%.

The October 2022 massive Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) saw results announced after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 49,783 elementary teachers successfully passed the exams out of 91,468 examinees, with a pass rate of 54.43%.

In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers, the fourth and final batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021, PRC released results in just 30 working days. Out of 17,149 examinees, 8,667 elementary teachers passed the exams, achieving a pass rate of 50.54%.

During the Third Batch of LET in March 2022, PRC remarkably released results in only twenty-five (25) working days. Among 20,567 examinees, 10,039 elementary teachers successfully passed the exams, resulting in a pass rate of 48.81%.

For Batch 2 LET in January 2022, PRC announced results within thirty (30) working days. A total of 8,737 elementary teachers passed the tests out of 15,696 examinees, yielding a pass rate of 55.66%.

In the First Batch of LET in September 2021, PRC released results after forty-seven (47) working days. Out of 8,726 examinees, 4,883 elementary teachers successfully passed the exams, achieving a pass rate of 55.96%.

In the last teacher’s board exam before the pandemic in September 2019, PRC announced results within fifty (50) working days. Out of 92,440 examinees, 28,973 elementary teachers passed the exams, resulting in a pass rate of 31.34%.

Note: From March 2013 to March 2023, the average passing rate for the Elementary Level exam was 34.32%, with 3 out of 10 takers successfully passing the exams.
