Alden Richards, a kapuso artist, discusses the upcoming wedding of actress-host Maine Mendoza and actor-politician Arjo Atayde.

Alden told the source following the “Battle of the Judges” press conference that Maine has been a “very huge” part of his life. The actor was questioned how he feels with the news that his longtime on-screen loveteam is getting married.

“Parang hindi ako masyadong naging vocal about this for the longest time and I think it’s the right time [to say ang] malaking pasasalamat ko sa kanya… sa pagtiwala n’ya sa akin, in a way,” Alden said. “And although may we had differences and misunderstandings in the past, at least, we remained good friends.”

 Alden stated that what Arjo is giving her is the love she really deserves.

 “Of course, Maine and Arjo are together and they’re engaged and they’re getting married… But for me, ayoko ko na po silang durugin,” Alden stated.
