It’s Showtime: ABS-CBN Releases Statement Expressing Appreciation To TV5

ABS-CBN thanked TV5’s management for allowing the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime.

Following their departure from TAPE Inc’s management, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and other Dabarkads signed a deal with MediaQuest, Manny V. Pangilinan’s media business.

This raised concerns about TV5’s noontime slot, which is presently taken by It’s Showtime.

On June 20, it was ultimately announced that the Kapamilya noontime show will no longer be shown on TV5. GTV, GMA’s network, has formally confirmed that it is now the new home of It’s Showtime.

The hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show additionally released the information on their social media profiles.

ABS-CBN acknowledged TV5 Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan in a statement for his support and for helping to promote It’s Showtime to a larger wider through their content partnership.

The Kapamilya noontime show will continue to air on A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC from Monday through Saturday.

The Kapamilya network then stated that beginning July 1, 2023, It’s Showtime would also air on GTV, for which they are grateful to GMA.
