The actress recently discussed her split from her non-showbiz boyfriend, Macky Mathay.
Sunshine made an appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Thursday.
Sunshine told Boy Abunda in an interview on Thursday that, despite their public connection, she didn’t talk about their separation since there were children involved. According to the actress, she opted to remain silent because the general public had no idea what they were going through or what she had gone through.
“I chose to be quiet because merong mga bata na involved—mga anak niya na napamahal sa akin at ‘yung mga anak ko na napamahal kay Macky,”
Sunshine stated.
The actress did not elaborate on their split, but she did say that trust had been lost in her relationships with both Macky Mathay and Cesar Montano.
She went on to say that three things are essential in a relationship: love, trust, and respect. A relationship, she believes, will fail if one of those essential elements is lacking.
Sunshine also stated that she recognized that there comes a moment when one feels a relationship has ended.
When questioned if a third party was involved in her separation from Macky Mathay, the actress stated that she was not in a position to discuss it.
