Following the representative Celeste Cortesi’s failed to advance to the Top 16, pageant expert Adam Genato reported that certain MUPH organization officers left the pageant location.

A internet user questioned Genato during his livestream on January 15: “Some Filipinos in New Orleans saw MUPH [national directors] walking out, leaving Celeste crying outside the venue. What can you say about it?”
He confirmed this, saying: “Buti nalang nandun din yung boyfriend n’ya to comfort her, malaking bagay yon. The whole time she was totally distraught and down, her boyfriend was there.”
“Nagwalk-out, oo, pero may isang taga-MUP lumapit sa’kin, [he] really tried his best to get to Celeste right away after the telecast was over,” he added

Shamcey Supsup, Miss Universe Philippines 2011, serves as the organization’s national director at the moment. Jonas Gaffud and Voltaire Tayag, respectively, serve as the creative director and director of communications.

As of the time of this writing, neither MUPH nor Celeste Cortesi have confirmed the reality of the alleged report.
