TOP 10 PASSERS: December 2022 Criminologist Board Exam Results

PRC announced that only 11,098 individuals out of 33,489 examinees have passed the December 2022 Criminologist Licensure Exam. The Board of Criminology is composed of Hon. Ramil G. Gabao (inhibited), Chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez, Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz, Members.

Tarlac State University emerged as the top-performing school in the said boards with a 100 percent passing rate. It was followed by Cavite State University (95.70 percent), University of Iloilo (92.54 percent), King’s College of the Philippines Inc. Benguet (87.50 percent), Laguna State Polytechnic University San Pablo (86.30 percent), University of the Cordilleras (84.62 percent), King’s College of the Philippines Bambang (82.00 percent), and University of Southern Mindanao (81.13 percent). The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology administered the exam in various testing centers on December 4, 5, and 6, 2022 (Sunday to Tuesday) in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Kidapawan, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cauayan, Antique, Dumaguete, San Jose in Occidental Mindoro and Palawan.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The December 2022 Criminologist board exam covered the following subjects:
criminal jurisprudence, procedure and evidence and law enforcement administration (Day 1)
criminalistics, crime detection and investigation (Day 2)

sociology of crimes and ethics and correctional administration (Day 3).
