After stealing several things from the school, several robbers write a touching letter on the chalkboard that reads, “Pasensya na wala kaming bigas.”

The “OTON, Iloilo: My Hometown” Facebook page posted a picture of a sad message that was left by the robbers who ransacked the school. After being uploaded on social media, the article went viral instantly online.

At Oton Central Elementary School, a teacher said that when unidentified suspects came in, some of their belongings were missing. They learned that one of their rooms had been ransacked on January 15, 2023, when they saw the door’s broken locks.

The unnamed suspects write a message on the chalkboard of the school. The teacher and people in Iloilo were both interested in the note. The suspects said they had no option but to rob the room in order to make money.

The thieves wrote, “Pasensya na wala kaming bigas. Kami ang magnanakaw.”

A Bluetooth speaker, air conditioning, electric fans, wall fans, and other important things were purportedly taken by the robbers from the classroom.
