According to the state weather bureau’s early Friday report, rain is forecast across the nation as a low pressure system moves east of Surigao del Sur.
It’s 4:00 a.m.
according to a weather advisory, the LPA was spotted at three in the morning.
East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, is around 140 km.
The weather disturbance will provide cloudy skies with isolated to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas area, Central Visayas, Negros Occidental, Albay, Masbate, Sorsogon, and Catanduanes, according to PAGASA.
The LPA will also cause cloudy skies with rare rain showers and thunderstorms to affect Northern Mindanao, the Zamboanga Peninsula, Mimaropa, the rest of Western Visayas, the rest of Bicol Region, and Quezon province.
According to PAGASA, the weather could result in landslides or flooding.
Along with the LPA, anticipated isolated thunderstorms might cause flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms across the rest of Mindanao.
PAGASA predicts that the northeast monsoon, or amihan, may deliver moderate to sometimes heavy rains to Metro Manila, the Cagayan Valley, the rest of Calabarzon, Aurora, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.
