“Ma’am, may nakaputi po sa bintana,” a college student joked to a teacher while solving a problem during a night class.

A Facebook user named Honey Denn Benzon posted a video of their teacher passionately discussing a math lesson with her students. Social media users had a variety of reactions to the video.

The teacher is seen in the video solving a math problem on a whiteboard. During night class, she does her best to teach the students about math equations. During the class, something unexpected happened.

The female teacher, according to Benzon, required a make-up class for her students after intramurals caused delays in their discussions. However, the class begins at 5:30 p.m., and by the end of the class, it was already dark.

“That time 2 days before midterm exam po yata namin and naghahabol na kami ng lesson dahil sa intrams kaya nagpa make up class po si ma’am, And yung available time nya lang po is 5-6:30 pero dahil late na rin sya nakapunta kasi deretso yung klase nya that day kaya nagsimula kami around 5:30 po,” Benzon said.

Honey Denn noticed the lights were turned off, and they were the only students left in the building at the time. “Ma’am, may nakaputi po sa bintana,” her classmates joked, so they could go home already.

“Habang naglelecture po si ma’am napansin namin na kami na lang naiwan sa engineering building and nakasara na mga ilaw kaya jinojoke namin si ma’am na may nakaputi sa bintana para bilisan na nya magturo pero hindi naman sya nagalit kasi pati sya matatakutin rin,” Benzon added.
