“My teenage self loved you Deeply,” Hilary Duff says of Aaron Carter’s Dėath

Hilary Duff is among the celebrities who are mourning the dėath of Aaron Carter, an American singer who diėd on Saturday (US time).

Duff and Carter were in a relationship when they were in their early twenties. They met on the set of Disney’s Lizzie McGuire, which was topbilled by Duff and in which Carter guested, when they were both 13 years old, and hit it off right away. Unfortunately, the young couple split up after only a year and a half together, but they later reconnected and remained friends.

Duff paid tribute to her ex-boyfriend on Instagram and expressed condolences to his family.

“For Aaron- I am deeply sorry that life was so hard for you and that you had to struggle infront of the whole world. You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent… Boy, did my teenage self love you deeply,” She mentioned it in her tribute.

“Sending love to your family at this time. Rest easy,” she added.

Carter rose to fame as the younger brother of Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter at the turn of the millennium with his hit album “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It).” According to reports from around the world, the troubled 34-year-old singer was discovered dead in his bath tub at his home in Lancaster, California.

Prior to his dėath, the former child star battled drug addiction and other mental health problems. Following his split from girlfriend Madison Parker in August 2017, he also opened up about his sėxuality.

Aside from Duff, the group New Kids on the Block and Dianne Warren have both expressed their sorrow at Carter’s death.

Carter’s dėath will leave his one-year-old son Prince in the care of his former fiancee, Melanie Martin.
