Aaron Carter, a former child star turned rapper, was discovered de@d at his residence in California.

Carter began performing at the age of seven and sang lead for the band Dead End for two years, according to an internet biography.

He made his solo debut at the age of nine as the Backstreet Boys’ opening act in Berlin. 

His achievement as an opening act for Britney Spears resulted in a record deal and the release of his debut single, “Crush on You.” He also starred in the television shows “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and “7th Heaven.”

When the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report at Aaron Carter’s home in Lancaster, California, on Saturday, they found a body, as according Deputy Alejandra Parra, a spokesman for the department. Officials reported that they were unable not verify that it was the singer at this time.

Aaron Carter was discovered dead in a bathtub on Saturday after officers responded to a 911 call reporting a drowning. There is as of now no evidence of foul play, according to law enforcement, and the cause of de@th has yet to be confirmed.
