On Thursday, Percival “Percy Lapid” Mabasa’s brother voiced disappointment at the passing of a suspected “middleman” in the broadcaster’s de@th and lamented what he claims is the Marcos Jr. administration’s obvious lack of concern about the investigation.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin visited the funeral of Mabasa to personally deliver the president’s message to the family in the absence of a verbal statement from Marcos.

Roy had claimed that Bersamin, on behalf of Marcos, had also promised to provide Mabasa’s family safety.

Roy criticized the alleged lack of coordination between the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) during his interview on TeleRadyo on Thursday.
