Despite the separation controversy with her spouse, Chiz Escudero, Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista continued to use her last name “Escudero” on Twitter.

Recall that Heart changed her Instagram username from Escudero to Evangelista, which fueled split rumors, and erased the Escudero surname from her account.

Yet, she only listed herself as a “wife” in her profile rather than an artist, CEO, author, or advocate.

Panda, Heart’s dog, still goes by the last name “Escudero.”

Heart said last month that she is now going through a difficult period as a result of speculations that she and her spouse Chiz had broken up.

In a vlog posted to her YouTube account, Heart expressed her gratitude and hope that things would be better soon.

“I’ve always been such a happy person and I’ve always been somebody who just goes against the tides and just let the waves crash on me. I’m not going to lie — I’ve been going through a lot of personal stuff in my mind,” Heart stated.

“But you know, at the end of the day, I’m still very grateful and as long as there’s life, there’s hope,” she continued.

Heart claimed that she is currently looking for happiness.
