Vhong Navarro’s imprisonment at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Jail a day after a warrant for his arrest on the r@pe accusation was issued on Tuesday was questioned by the camp of model Deniece Cornejo.

The actor’s camp stated they had not yet received the court’s commitment order or its judgement on the case.  They are currently getting ready to submit a petition for bail, nevertheless.

“To be honest, hindi namin inakala na ganun kabilis ‘yung pag-issue ng warrant of arrest dahil mayroon kaming at least 3 motions before the Honorable Court,” Atty. Alma Mallonga, Navarro’s legal counsel, shared.

Mallonga added.
