The family of Jovelyn Galleno approached Sen. Raffy Tulfo for assistance in conducting a DNA test on the bones recovered on Tuesday, August 23,2022.

Jovelyn’s sister stated in an interview with Raffy Tulfo in Action that shortly after her sister went missing, locals inspected the area but found no traces of a lifeless corpse until the remains were discovered on Monday, August 22.

She confirmed that the items were for Jovelyn, such as the purse her sister was carrying when she vanished.
Jonalyn sought the assistance of Sen. Raffy Tulfo in obtaining a second deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test to ensure that the skeletal bones belonged to Jovelyn.

A medicolegal officer also shared her thoughts on the bones that were recently discovered in Palawan and are thought to be those of the missing victim.

Doc. Eunice Herrera, a medicolegal officer in Puerto Princesa, shared her thoughts on the situation.

She believes that the process of body decomposition may take a long time due to weather and other factors.

Many issues are being discussed on social media. After the PNP Palawan conducted a DNA test on the alleged remains of Jovelyn, netizens were skeptical because a police officer was also a suspect in the case. According to netizens, the outcome may be concealed.

Mr. Raffy Tulfo announced on the Wanted sa Radyo YouTube Live today, September 15, 2022, that the NBI DNA Result was Positive, but the NBI stated that it is only a partial report. The NBI hasn’t explained why the result became positive, but according to Mr. Raffy Tulfo, next week they will reveal the result of the polygraph test and also why the DNA result became positive.
