Fidel V. Ramos, the Philippines’ 12th president, will be honored with a funeral on Tuesday, August 9, at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.

Following his state funeral, Ramos will be given full military honors. As early as Sunday, the troops began rehearsing and preparing for the momentous occasion.

Colonel Xerxes Trinidad, a Philippine Army spokeswoman, offered a tour of the Libingan a day before Ramos’ burial.

Malacañang had previously stated that Ramos will be given a state funeral with full military honors on the exact same day.
